The Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Course is taught in a blended learning format. AHA Heartsaver Instructor candidates must have a current Heartsaver Provider card and have completed the Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Online Course before attending the hands-on in person session conducted by HS/BLS Training Faculty. 

 

 

Additional items: NOTE: The Heartsaver Essentials in an online prerequisite and must be completed prior to taking the hands-on Heartsaver Instructor Course. Once you are a credentialed instructor, before you start teaching classes, you will need to purchase Heartsaver videos (there are 3 options provided).
