Renewal of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Class. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. This classroom, Instructor-led course incorporates a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to:

  • Pediatric assessment
  • Basic life support
  • PALS treatment algorithms
  • Effective resuscitation
  • Team dynamics
You may wish to purchase the AHA’s Handbook of Emergency Cardiovascular Care for Healthcare Providers (optional), which you can bring to the course to use as a reference guide during some of the stations in the course.
