SAF101 - 10-HR General Industry
This 10-hr OSHA Authorized training is an orientation to occupational Safety and Health for Workers who are involved in general industry and covers 29 CFR 1910. This 1 ½ day class is taught live online in our virtual studio where you will be able to interact with the instructor and other students from the comfort of your own home. This authorized training is an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers who are in a general industry.
Examples of professions who need OSHA 10-hr general industry include employees in:

- Entertainment
- Manufacturing
This class is for entry-level workers who need an orientation to occupational health and safety. Students will learn about the safety measures outlined under OSHA 29 CFR 1910, and how to improve workplace safety.
You will learn the workplace safety responsibility of your employer and you will learn your rights including how to file a complaint if your workplace is not meeting safety standards. With this certification you will be well-prepared to face the challenges and responsibilities in general industries giving you a leg up over other workers who don’t have the certification.
Essentially the purpose of the OSHA 10-hr training course is to promote workplace safety and health by making workers more knowledgeable about the common job-related hazards and the best practices to minimize them. Workers learn about crucial hazards as well as how to protect their legal rights. It’s an affordable way for companies to promote workplace safety.

- An Introduction to OSHA
- Walking and Working Surfaces, including Fall Protection
- Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention and Fire Protection
- Electrical
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Hazard Communication
This course will take 1 ½ days to complete. Once you register and pay for the course, you will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom meeting link and instructions on how to attend.
